I guess so? I don’t really know.
It’s nice to meet you Hermione, I’m in Slytherin. What house are you in?
Slytherin, I’ve been running into snakes lately. You aren’t going to be the cliche, are you?

I’m a lion.
Um, I just missed you, Gryffindork. I haven’t seen you around Salem at all.
I’ve been brushing up on Salem and all it has to offer, naturally.

Perhaps it would do you good to try a little history as well.
To be honest I thought you where just clinging on to victor krum’s headboard. THOUGH I DID MISS YOU AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I’m good I just had candy floss, blew my mind
Sorry?! His..headboard..? I—..OH MELINDA BOBBIN, HOW FOUL!

I most certainly will NOT be clinging to anyone’s—ANYTHING. You can be sure of that! And well, I’ve missed you, too. Candy Floss, have you really?! I’ve been dying to try some, I should get going down to that fair—oh but I can’t seem to find Ron, I might end up going with Ginny anyway, leave him to defend for himself. It would be amusing to see him totally confused about the whole thing..
HERMIONE JEAN GRANGER, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!
Uh oh.
You sound awfully like your mother, Snaps…

As terrifying as that is.
Hi, I’m Flora.
Flora? As in Latin? For ‘flower.’ How nice!

I’m Hermione, it’s very nice to meet you! What house are you in?
Oh, I’m good, a bit confused though. No one’s really told me properly what’s at the fair. Everyone I’ve talked to have never been to one and only guess what’s going to be there. It’s times like these I wish I was allowed to have taken Muggle Studies.
What about you? I think the last time we talked we were.. in Bulgaria?
I’ve heard all about fairs, love! Of course, how can you not when I grew up around Muggles? It’s just a fun, wonderful time, I’ve heard! Rides and food and lots and lots of people are there, you just can’t help but feel excited! I’m going there as soon as I find Harr—Ron. And maybe even Ginny if there isn’t anyone else she’s going with, maybe a boy. She’s growing quite a bit, I think some might fancy a trip to the fair with her, anyway. You’ll have fun, don’t worry!

Yes! We were, indeed, I’m alright, just low-key and all.
You should not be smiling unless you’ve been brainwashed and forgotten there is dirty blood inside you.
Dirty blood? Unless someone’s transferred my blood into a vat of grime and rat pellets, my blood is just the same as yours. The only ‘dirty’ thing here, I’m afraid, is your rotten attitude.

Oh, so you say hi to everyone, but not me when I yell out “Are you there?” to you randomly.
Sorry.

Next time I shall be at your beck and call, maam.
HI HERMIONE. I thought you’d stayed in durmstrang ;)
Darling, darling Melinda, and leave you all to yourselves? I wouldn’t DREAM of it, I bet you’ve caused mayhem already!

I’m only kidding, of course! I’ve been playing low-key, how are you?
Well I don’t think I’m going to go, think i might take a nap
What a right rebel.

Though I’ve got admit, this might be for too much for you anyway.

Haha, you’re adorable! So what have you gotten up to so far today?
You must be the only Slytherin to think that, what would the others say about this? Really, we’re Romeo and Juliet. You being the lovely and beautiful Juliet, of course.

I’ve been up to absolutely EVERYTHING. Actually, I’ve been in their library brushing up on some stuff, I’m a little addicted to their history, to be quite honest. I’m sad to be leaving, how about you?
Hey Hermione. Are you going to the swimming thingy?
WE’RE GOING TO A POOL, OH OH OH.

…I-I mean, excellent, sure, I”ll go to that. No big deal or anything.

What kind of person was she—scratch that—role-model was she if, upon telling Harry to get straight to bed and rest up for tomorrow’s big day—she’d not even taken her own advice. Three alarm clocks were set up beside her bed now, all set for the same time. There would be no missing tomorrow’s, that was for sure. Hermione could absolutely kick herself for leaving her friend to dry like that, she couldn’t believe he’d been so forgiving. And Ron, she’d never hear the end of it from that one. Sighing deeply, she tried on a smile—having promised the young champion of the day to brighten up. And for some odd reason, Harry could always tell when something was wrong. Hermione tried out a few funny faces, which earned her looks. She coughed, straightening up and smoothing out her outfit, drawing her attention back to what she’d experimented with.
New places, meant new things, meaning trying things out a little. Hermione couldn’t remember the last time she’d had her hair down, or felt like heavy weight had been lifted from her in the form of clothes. It was nice, having an excuse to dress up tonight. She reached over, taking a tiny box from the bed, rolling it around in her hands as the Gryffindor hurried outside with the rest.
She’d given a lot of thought about this, about what might be the appropriate gift to give her best friend. A good luck and congratulations for making it all-in-one. And also, a little something to pick him up. Harry had had the worst luck in the last few months, they all had. It’d been especially bad for him, and she knew just how much he was still hurting, though he did a pretty excellent job of hiding it. A small, sad smile crossed her features. When he thought she wasn’t looking, Hermione caught him staring at particularily nothing, and she knew at that moment whatever he was looking at couldn’t be seen by her or anyone else. It was the past.
“Harry?” Hermione looked around in search of her friend. There were groups, clans, piles of people hanging around here and there, the food stacked high in the middle of hungry-looking competetors. She smiled at the sight of laughing, smiling, playful shoving and bantering. Recognizing a specific laugh in particular, Hermione spun around and finally spotted the brunette, smiling as she started over. She stopped suddenly when she realized who he was sitting by. Well? What’s wrong with that? Isn’t she your friend now? Hermione couldn’t argue with that, Adrianna had clearly shown she could play nice, proving once again not all Slytherins were ruthless. But still….
She dismissed the foreboding feeling, chalking it up to being a little irrational from too much sleep, and still being on guard, before making her way towards the pair again. “Здравейте!”
